Terms of Service for ScanMe App

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ScanMe mobile application (“App”).

By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.

Using the App

The App is designed to allow users to scan QR codes to track attendance on a Google Sheet.

In using the App, you agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • Not use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the App.
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, or any of our servers, networks.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App, including without limitation, copyrights, trademarks, trade names, service marks, and other proprietary rights, are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, display, or create derivative works of the App or any of its content, except as expressly authorized by us in writing.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall we be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the App at any time and for any reason, including without limitation, your violation of these Terms.

Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
